Phantom Blade Zero Regions - Route, Gates & Collectibles

The seven areas of the Phantom Blade Zero game in route order, with what gates each one and what it holds.

Seven Areas, One Wulin

Phantom Blade Zero's world is a chain of seven documented areas: the tutorial Prologue, Weeping Creek Valley, the Crimson Forest, the Village of Lu, the town of Pangzhen, the Mandate Encampment and Meigu Lake. Progression is chapter-gated rather than level-gated β€” Dread Axe chain barriers, the Hunter's Chain Sickle traversal routes and story talismans do the locking β€” so the game will happily let you walk into a region before its content is beatable. Each region page below carries its own unlock condition, boss list and Blackstone Fragment locations.

Bells are the region rhythm: they refill health, Medicine uses and Phantom Edge sparks, fast-travel between discovered points, and never respawn enemies. Ringing a new Bell also reveals its stretch of the map.

What Carries Across Regions

Three collection threads run through all seven areas, and they are the real reason to sweep each one before moving on. Blackstone Fragments (four to a Blackstone, +10% Attack Power and Guard Break each) total twenty-one documented pickups. Sha-Chi Amber Fragments follow the same four-to-one rule for +10% maximum Sha-Chi. Memory Flowers grant +5-7% max HP each and carry story lore β€” introduced in the Crimson Forest, and worth collecting before each region boss. None of these respawn, and several are only reachable after a later region hands you the traversal tool that opens them.

Which Region Page Do You Need?

Each region page answers three questions: what gates the area, what fights it, and what loot is missable. New players should read the Weeping Creek Valley page first β€” its side-quest timers (Whence the Weeping, Yu'Er's medicines) are the game's first taste of missable content. Pangzhen's page is the completionist's map, holding six of the twenty-one Blackstone Fragments. Meigu Lake's page is the endgame ledger for the late-game boss duels.
